This is the best place to stay on the island. It has fishing, easy access to the bay and ocean and a dock to tie up and be ready to go at moment’s notice. The view from the back deck is fantastic as well as a great place to sit and enjoy a drink. It is truly Paradise.

I don’t want to tell anybody about how fantastic the location is right on the canal. Nor do I want to let anybody know how great the fishing is. And definitely don’t want anybody to know how wonderful the host is. I want to keep this hidden gem to myself because this place is fantastic if you need a beautiful place that is perfect for fishing right off of the dock, docking your boat and going directly to the best inshore fishing, or just sitting on one of the decks and enjoying island time. Whether you’re in the hot tub or just having a glass of wine and enjoying the view, it’s all perfect. Plenty of parking in the long wide driveway, plenty of room in the house with four bedrooms and pullout couches, and conveniently close to all things Padre Island. This is the perfect place but please don’t let anybody know the secret.

Excellent, spacious home for our family to enjoy! The deck was our absolute favorite part and where we spent a majority of our trip just swimming in the canal or in the hot or fishing. The kitchen was stocked well for us to cook our meals, the beds were extremely comfortable and it was very clean. Nice, quiet neighborhood and very close commute to the beach or any stores/restaurants. Mark is very communicative and easy to get ahold of for any questions that might arise. We had a wonderful time, thanks again Mark!

This place has everything you’re looking for, for a place at the beach. Hot Tub and fishing off the dock, what more could you ask for. Pet friendly, was perfect for our chocolate lab puppy Beesly. Everything was enclosed and locked which made us feel safe with a dog there. We will be back!

Awesome place for a family vacation, fishing from the deck, relaxing in the hot tub, the shaded deck keeps the sun off. Super clean and well maintained, and owners instantly responsive to any questions. Beautiful landscaping. 1 to 5 minutes from multiple beaches. My kids want to live there now!

The property is awesome and Mark met us at the house to ensure we were all dialed in for our stay. The house was very nice, super clean and well equipped for any length of stay. The highlight is the whole outdoor deck/porch area where we spent most of our time. Not only did I have my boat at the dock right below the deck, but we had an outdoor fridge, BBQ, Stereo, Hot Tub, Pool and Ice Maker at our leisure! Mark made sure that we were taken care of and the way they care for their property is second to none. All linens, rooms, areas were very clean and everything in the house we used worked! We will definitely come back for a long-term stay. Thanks Mark!

"Great times with great friends at a great place"

There were 4 couples and there was plenty of room for all of us. We did spend most of the time enjoying the amazing deck. Grilling, fishing, hanging out in hot tub, there was definitely plenty to do. Caught a few crabs with the crab trap but didn't have much luck this time fishing off the deck. Mark made us feel very welcome and we will try to stay here again when we can make it back down.

We had an amazing time. Mark and his wife were so nice and accommodating. We were less than a mile from the beach but spent most of our time at their fabulous home. Hot tub fishing and swimming in the canal all from the back porch! A paradise of a vacation. Highly recommend for families or big groups.

This property is in an amazing location. Directly on the water and just a few minutes from some pretty amazing beaches. Mark was a great host and has a gem in this coastal property. He went above and beyond with his hospitality by meeting us at the house and walking us through how to operate everything on that fantastic deck. The home was extremely well stocked with towels and basic toiletries, a concept that most homeowners forget when they list their properties. The bedrooms were great, comfy beds and linens. Plenty of space to stretch out. Cable and internet were a great addition, we watched a few movies and was able to get some work done. The fishing off the back deck was awesome, caught Black Drum, Crabs and Red Fish like crazy. The fire pit gives a great ambiance for those not interested in fishing and the music in the outdoor grill is the perfect touch. The hot tub was great and got some use as well. We will certainly be visiting Mark again in the future, we had an amazing time!

"Spectacular vacation enjoyed by all!"

The owner was present upon arrival for a personal tour of the home. He was very kind and accommodating. The property is a luxury home as pictured. It is well kept and very clean. We enjoyed every aspect of the spacious rental. The home is large and open enough for family gatherings, yet offers plenty of privacy from the neighbors. The location on the canal was perfect for fishing from the wonderful deck. There is a corner store close by and the expansive Padre island beach is a must see. There is a water park, aquarium and naval ship tour also in the area. The bi-level deck was everyone's favorite. Something was available for everyone, from the grill, deck, sound system, to the hot tub where we enjoyed wonderful sunsets. Table, chairs and towels were also plentiful. The home also has a washer and dryer. We plan on staying again next year!

First of all, super friendly host. Nice house in perfect location with awesome outside porch - you gonna love it. It is not so far to the beach or you can enjoy in the hot tub. It is perfect for 2 families with 5 kids. Definitely follow mark´s recommendations what´s around. Try the German bakery that's also not far away.
